Colors

I like colors. Especially on graphs that show how many pages of my books people are reading. Let me explain. On the Kindle Unlimited dashboard, Amazon provides a graph showing the number of pages read each day. I prefer the bar graph because it’s pretty. If you have multiple books, the bars become stacked bars. Below the graph, there’s a list of your books (if you’re the author), cumulative pages read, and a corresponding color randomly assigned to each book. These colors translate to the stacked bars in the graph. As I’ve discovered this week, I really like it when those bars have multiple colors. It means people are reading my books and in the case of The Drop, continuing on in the series past Season One. It’s wonderful to see and since we’re starting a new month, I’m hoping it keeps up. You wouldn’t want to deny me all those lovely colors, would you?
